Welcome to the Scape Blog
March 30, 2026
Hey, I'm Elliot — the creator of Scape.
I built Scape because I wanted a better way to work with Claude Code. Not a chat wrapper or a fancy IDE plugin, but a proper command center — one where I could run multiple sessions in parallel, each in its own isolated worktree, with terminals, code editors, and notes all in one place.
What started as a tool I built for myself has turned into something I use every single day. And based on the feedback so far, I'm not the only one.
What this blog is for
This is where I'll share the workflows and patterns I've found most useful:
- Worktree workflows — how to use Git worktrees to work on multiple branches without losing context
- Claude Code best practices — prompting strategies, session management, and getting the most out of parallel sessions
- Scape tips — features you might not know about, keyboard shortcuts, and power-user workflows
- Behind the build — occasional deep dives into how Scape is built and why certain decisions were made
What's coming
I have a backlog of posts I'm excited to write. First up will be a deep dive into worktree workflows — how I use them, why they've changed how I work, and how to set them up in Scape.
If there's something specific you'd like me to cover, reach out at e@scape.work.
Thanks for being here.
